Bureau Veritas Australia Pty Ltd solidifies its position as the market leader for Building Compliance services within the Australian Building & Construction Industry.
BV subsidiary, McKenzie Group Consulting Pty Ltd, completes its acquisition of the business and assets of BCA Certifiers Australia Pty Ltd and the majority of the Building Surveying and ESM businesses of Hendry Group Pty Ltd effective 1 December 2023.
McKenzie Group Consulting completed the successful acquisition of the business and assets of BCA Certifiers Australia Pty Ltd, a leading building certification and building code advisory group operating across the Australian Capital Territory and Southern-New South Wales effective 1 November 2023, and additionally, completed the acquisition of the majority of Hendry Group’s Building Surveying and Essential Services Management business activities effective 1 December 2023.
As one of Australia’s largest Building Surveying, Accessibility and Compliance Management firms for over 35 years, the acquisitions signify an important milestone for McKenzie Group, firmly securing its position as the market leader for Building Compliance services within the Australian Building & Construction industry.
Complementing McKenzie Group’s existing offices in Brisbane, Gold Coast, Melbourne, Geelong and Sydney, the expansion via the BCA Certifiers business into the Canberra market brings local expertise in both residential and commercial sectors across the ACT and Southern-NSW regions. Additionally, the acquisition of Hendry Group’s Building Surveying and ESM businesses supplements the McKenzie Group’s east-coast footprint and also includes offices in Adelaide and Perth which will serve as integral platforms to establish McKenzie Group's already strong reputation into the Central and Western Australian regions. Together the expanded McKenzie Group will combine a talented team of over 140 people delivering quality and innovative-driven project outcomes whilst serving community expectations of safety, health, and amenity.
