Acknowledgement of Country

Bureau Veritas acknowledges the Traditional Owners and Custodians of the Lands throughout Australia across the many communities in which we live, visit and work.

Bureau Veritas’ Australia head office operates on the land of the Woiwurrung (Wurundjeri) people of the Kulin Nation. We acknowledge and pay our respects to Elder past, present, and emerging.

a message from Reconciliation Australia

Reconciliation Australia welcomes Bureau Veritas Australia to the Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) program with the formal endorsement of its inaugural Reflect RAP.

Bureau Veritas Australia joins a network of more than 2,200 corporate, government, and not-for-profit organisations that have made a formal commitment to reconciliation through the RAP program.

Since 2006, RAPs have provided a framework for organisations to leverage their structures and diverse spheres of influence to support the national reconciliation movement. The program’s potential for impact is greater than ever, with close to 3 million people now working or studying in an organisation with a RAP.

We have chosen Reconciliation Week 2023 to officially launch our inaugural Reconciliation Action Plan. Reconciliation is a critical step for our nation and for our company, and we set out on this journey with enthusiasm, curiosity, and a genuine desire to learn and grow. I know I speak on behalf of all our staff when I say that the creation of this RAP is an exciting and significant step. It is a step we do not take lightly, given how fundamental it is to our purpose and our genuine commitment to shaping a world of trust by ensuring responsible progress and having a positive impact on society and communities in which we operate.
